Our Client, a globally recognised technology business at the forefront of innovation, is looking for a talented FP&A Accountant to join their dynamic finance team on an ongoing contract basis. About you

  • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or part-qualified/finalist with strong relevant experience
  • Strong FP&A, management accounting, or commercial finance background
  • Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills, with advanced Excel capability
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights
  • Some exposure to M&A, acquisitions, due diligence, business integration, or other corporate finance activity
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and influencing business decisions
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work confidently with large and complex datasets
  • Experience with financial systems and/or BI tools; experience with a global ERP environment is desirable
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment

What you'll do

  • Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans across the business
  • Analyse monthly financial performance, identifying key trends, risks, opportunities, and variances
  • Produce insightful management reporting and financial analysis for senior stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and commercial decision-making
  • Partner with operational and commercial teams to understand performance drivers and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Provide financial analysis and support throughout M&A activity, including acquisition modelling, due diligence, and integration planning
  • Assist with the financial integration of acquired businesses, ensuring accurate reporting and alignment with group processes
  • Support post-acquisition performance tracking and reporting, identifying synergies and areas for improvement
  • Work closely with senior finance stakeholders on ad hoc strategic projects and business initiatives
  • Contribute to the continued development and improvement of FP&A processes, reporting, and financial models
  • Provide high-quality analysis and insight to support key investment and strategic decisions
