My client, a well-established and growing multi-sector organisation, is hiring a Senior BI Analyst / Developer to join an expanding Business Systems team based in Northern Ireland. You will be part of a collaborative team delivering innovative Business Intelligence, reporting, and process automation solutions across multiple operational business areas. My client is passionate about modernising how data is used across the organisation and building scalable, insight-led solutions that improve operational and strategic decision-making.
As a Senior BI Analyst / Developer, you will work closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver high-quality Power BI reporting solutions, scalable data models, and Power Platform applications that digitise and streamline operational processes. You will work across the full data lifecycle including requirements gathering, data transformation, reporting, automation, and process improvement initiatives. The role will also involve supporting the transition from legacy reporting environments to a modern cloud-based data platform, helping shape best practices across reporting, governance, automation, and data architecture.
The Person
- Strong commercial experience with Power BI including DAX, dashboard development, and data modelling
- Experience developing Power Apps and Power Automate solutions within enterprise environments
- Good SQL and relational database knowledge
- Experience delivering end-to-end BI and analytics solutions
- Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering experience
- Experience identifying and improving manual or spreadsheet-driven business processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work across multiple business functions and operational teams
- Familiarity with data governance, reporting standards, and scalable reporting solutions
- Experience working within Agile or structured delivery environments
Desirable
- Experience with modern Microsoft cloud data platforms
- Exposure to Azure DevOps, Git, or CI/CD tooling
- Experience with ERP or enterprise operational systems
- Exposure to Python or additional data transformation tooling
