VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a highly respected and growing Chartered Accountancy practice with offices across County Tyrone and Fermanagh to recruit a Newly Qualified Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified ACA or ACCA professional who is keen to build their career within a supportive and client-focused environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with a varied portfolio of SME clients, gaining exposure to accounts preparation, advisory work and client relationship management.

The Role

As a Newly Qualified Accountant, you will become a key member of a well-established team, supporting a diverse client base across multiple sectors. The role will focus primarily on accounts preparation while providing opportunities to develop broader advisory and client-facing skills.

What You Will Do

  • Prepare year-end statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • Assist with management accounts and financial reporting assignments
  • Support the completion of corporate and personal tax compliance work
  • Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and provide practical business advice
  • Review bookkeeping records and cloud accounting systems
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Work closely with senior team members on a range of advisory projects
  • Ensure assignments are completed accurately and within deadlines

Requirements

  • Newly qualified ACA or ACCA accountant
  • Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment
  • Strong accounts preparation experience
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
  • Experience of cloud accounting software would be advantageous
  • Keen to develop long-term client relationships
