You'll be joining a well-established organisation operating within the warehousing and supply chain sector, supporting major customers through efficient stock management and logistics services. This role sits within the Stock Office function, acting as a key link between stock control, customer service and warehouse operations.

About you

  • Previous stock management experience within a food production, warehousing or logistics environment
  • Proven experience managing or supervising a team
  • Strong stakeholder and customer relationship management skills
  • Excellent IT and reporting skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and problem-solving ability
  • Calm under pressure with a proactive, 'can-do' attitude
  • Commercially aware and results-focused approach

What you'll do

  • Supervise the day-to-day activities of the Stock Office Team
  • Monitor KPIs and provide accurate reporting to management
  • Ensure customer stock is processed accurately and efficiently
  • Manage stock queries and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Liaise with operations teams to coordinate stock receipt, storage and dispatch
  • Support scheduling, attendance management and payroll reporting
  • Coach, mentor and develop team members
  • Maintain training records, process documentation and operational procedures
