You'll be joining a well-established organisation operating within the warehousing and supply chain sector, supporting major customers through efficient stock management and logistics services. This role sits within the Stock Office function, acting as a key link between stock control, customer service and warehouse operations.
About you
- Previous stock management experience within a food production, warehousing or logistics environment
- Proven experience managing or supervising a team
- Strong stakeholder and customer relationship management skills
- Excellent IT and reporting skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and problem-solving ability
- Calm under pressure with a proactive, 'can-do' attitude
- Commercially aware and results-focused approach
What you'll do
- Supervise the day-to-day activities of the Stock Office Team
- Monitor KPIs and provide accurate reporting to management
- Ensure customer stock is processed accurately and efficiently
- Manage stock queries and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Liaise with operations teams to coordinate stock receipt, storage and dispatch
- Support scheduling, attendance management and payroll reporting
- Coach, mentor and develop team members
- Maintain training records, process documentation and operational procedures
