About the Role

VANRATH have partnered with a growing organisation to recruit an experienced Group HR Generalist who will play a central role in Employee Relations and Recruitment. This is a hands-on position for a professional with a proven track record in managing sensitive HR matters and delivering full recruitment lifecycle support. The ideal candidate will bring strong practical experience, confidence in applying HR policies, and the ability to influence managers and teams across the organisation.

What You Will Do

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on Employee Relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace investigations.
  • Lead or support Employee Relations cases, ensuring compliance with employment law and organisational policy, while maintaining fairness and confidentiality.
  • Take ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle: drafting job descriptions, advertising roles, shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and deliver timely, effective hiring solutions.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, reporting on recruitment metrics and Employee Relations activity.
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving engagement, culture, and organisational effectiveness.
  • Keep up to date with employment legislation and HR best practice, with preferred knowledge of Republic of Ireland employment law.

What You Need

  • Proven HR experience, with strong expertise in Employee Relations and end-to-end recruitment.
  • Solid knowledge of employment legislation and practical HR policies; ROI employment law knowledge is desirable.
  • Demonstrable experience handling disciplinary and grievance processes, including investigations and case resolution.
  • Experience managing recruitment campaigns, candidate shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • CIPD qualification (Level 3 or above) or equivalent HR experience preferred.
