This Senior DevOps Engineer contract is initially 12 months, with extensions considered likely, and will initially involve approximately 2-3 days per week onsite in Manchester with mostly remote working once established.
We're looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join a cloud engineering team delivering a major programme of infrastructure and platform change, including migration from on-premise environments into Google Cloud Platform.

You'll be working with technologies including:
-

-

-
Cloud networking and security
-
AWS where relevant
The team is focused primarily on delivering new projects and engineering solutions, with longer-term operational support handed over to TechOps.
What we're looking for
For this Senior DevOps Engineer position, strong hands-on GCP experience is essential.
You'll also need:
-
Strong Kubernetes experience
-
Solid Linux systems administration knowledge
-
Terraform / Infrastructure as Code experience
-
Cloud infrastructure and networking knowledge
-
Experience with automation and scripting
Ansible and AWS experience would also be valuable, alongside wider experience across CI/CD, cloud security and infrastructure automation.
