VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a highly respected and growing accountancy practice in Northern Ireland to recruit an experienced Audit Manager. This is a superb opportunity for a technically strong individual to join a firm offering genuine variety, responsibility, and long-term progression.
The Role
This is a key hire within the audit team, suited to an experienced Manager who is confident overseeing complex engagements and supporting the development of both junior staff and existing Managers. You will take ownership of a diverse portfolio, with a strong focus on review, quality control and client delivery, while playing an active role in shaping the future growth of the department.
What You Will Do
- Review audit assignments across a broad and varied client portfolio
- Review statutory accounts and support on associated tax compliance work
- Manage client relationships and act as a trusted point of contact
- Support and deliver technical training across the audit team
- Mentor and develop junior staff and recently appointed Managers
- Work across a mix of UK, NI and some ROI clients
- Gain exposure to group structures, charities and regulated entities
- Contribute to the continued growth and development of the audit function

Requirements
- ACA / ACCA qualified
- Circa 3+ years' experience operating at Manager level within practice
- Strong audit and accounts review experience
- Exposure to a varied client base including SMEs, groups and ideally charities
- Experience supporting or delivering team training
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise across multiple engagements
