Management Accountant (4-day week/Belfast) VANRATH are delighted to be working exclusively with an innovative award-winning business to recruit a Management Accountant to join the growing finance team. Work a 4-day week, work 1 Friday in 4 A supportive and collaborative working environment. Key Responsibilities: Day to day management of the general ledger. Monitor and improve the financial systems and procedures. Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets and forecasts. Develop and maintain effective financial controls across invoicing, purchasing, credit control and financial reporting. Manage, monitor and review all financial accounts and activity, to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. Advise senior leadership on any financial decisions and implications, ensuring growth and profitability for the business Assist any reporting, auditing in a timely manner. Assist any financial runs, month-end and year end closing process. Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for improvement. * Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders. Ensure full compliance. Mentor and manage accounting employees, participating in any meetings, where required. Work closely with the Group Financial Controller and implement any business projects, strategy or plans as required. The Person: Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) ideally with 1 year PQE Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
