Sales Ledger Manager (Permanent) in Londonderry

Sales Ledger Manager Location: Derry Salary: 31-32k Employment Type: Permanent The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Ledger Manager to join a well-established organisation based in Derry. This is a varied role with responsibility for overseeing card administration, stock control and reconciliation, invoicing, reporting and the day-to-day management and development of a team. The successful candidate will have strong organisational and people management skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues across the business. Key Responsibilities Take overall responsibility for all card administration, including 24/7 fuel site stock control, reconciliation and sales invoicing. Oversee depot stock control and reconciliation, assisting with queries as they arise. Organise and maintain local account master files. Manage local account card records and ensure they are kept up to date. Take ownership of customer complaints and ensure they are resolved in a timely and efficient manner. Work closely with HR to ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures. Identify training and skills gaps within the team and manage performance through regular appraisals. Assist with recruitment and the training of new employees where required. Train and mentor team members on ledger payment allocation, including cheque and BACS payments. Provide day-to-day mentoring and support to the team, answering queries and addressing coaching requirements. Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly site sales reports. Produce monthly commission and bonus payment reports. Experience of motivating, coaching and training teams. Good IT skills, including email, Word and Excel. Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner. Working hours will fall within the department's operating hours of 8:00am - 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. Saturday morning working may also be required when operationally necessary.
