Vanrath are delighted to be partnering with HSCNI (Western Trust) to recruit on their behalf a qualified Dietitian to join their team. In this role, you will manage caseloads and undertake assessments, and you will work closely with the specialist multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Calculate individual dietary requirements for patients in accordance with their clinical condition, dietetic assessment and applicable evidence-based standards.
- Advise and review patients as necessary on the management of their dietary treatment, as per evidence-based standards / locally agreed pathway.
- Carry out detailed nutritional assessments, including the calculation of nutritional requirements based on interpretation of biochemistry, anthropometry, clinical condition and other physical parameters.
- Coordinate and educate staff to ensure that patients on therapeutic diets receive suitable menus and snacks as advised.
- Monitor and evaluate treatment in order to measure progress and ensure effectiveness of the intervention.
Essential Criteria
- Dietetics Degree (UK recognised)
- HCPC Registered
- Member of BDA
- Hold a current full UK driving licence

Salary
