VANRATH are recruiting a Plumber to work on Social Housing maintenance projects for a large, leading Construction Company in Derry, Londonderry, Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures within residential properties.
- This role ensures that all plumbing work is carried out to the highest standards, contributing to the overall functionality and safety of company properties.
- Install, maintain and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and fittings.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plumbing systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, providing effective solutions.
- Install and repair water heaters, boilers, and other plumbing-related appliances.
- Ensure compliance with current plumbing codes and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including maintenance logs and safety checks.
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Communicate effectively with clients and tenants to explain necessary work and provide maintenance advice.
- Use of PDA system to accurately facilitate the day to day running of all tasks.
The Ideal Person:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in a Plumbing or equivalent.
- Valid JIB card.
- Previous experience in similar role.
- Proven experience in plumbing installation, maintenance and repair work.
- Knowledge of current plumbing codes and standards.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Full UK driving license.
- CSR Card.
