About you
- Minimum 3 years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
- Strong proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational abilities
- Sound understanding of accounting principles and cost systems
- Ability to communicate complex data clearly and professionally
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including production and engineering
What you'll do
- Oversee costing data across multiple European sites to provide accurate insights on product costs and variances
- Develop standardised methodologies for calculating and maintaining product costs, supporting new product development
- Conduct routine variance analysis and support remediation actions to optimise costs
- Lead annual standard cost setting, including materials, labour, and overhead rates
- Act as a super user of SAP costing modules and train site personnel on system processes
- Support margin analysis and collaborate with supply chain and pricing teams to inform strategic decisions
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing analytical insights to the leadership team
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to cost-saving projects across the group
