This is a senior leadership hire, offering the chance to take ownership of branch performance, build strategic customer relationships and lead a high performing team within a well established and growing business. Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the day to day running and performance of the branch.
  • Shape and deliver branch growth plans that lift revenue, market share and profitability.
  • Win new business across the industrial, commercial and contractor markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with major contractors, consultants, end users and key accounts.
  • Act as the senior point of contact for key customers and make sure service delivery is first class.
  • Lead from the front on customer engagement, getting out on client visits and driving strategic sales activity.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and get the most from existing customer accounts.
  • Oversee quotations, tenders, project enquiries and larger customer opportunities.
  • Offer technical and commercial guidance on electrical products and solutions.
  • Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to meet customer requirements and open up commercial opportunities.
  • Lead, motivate and develop the branch team, building a high performance culture around service and commercial results.

  • Proven track record within the electrical wholesale industry.

  • Strong technical grounding in electrical products and solutions.
  • Demonstrable success in business development, account management and growing sales revenue.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and relationship building skills.

  • Well organised with sound problem solving ability.
  • Comfortable on Microsoft Office, with ERP experience such as Sage 200 an advantage.
