About the role

This interim finance opportunity offers the chance to step into a senior role supporting a complex set of operations. You'll be working closely with senior finance leaders to support group reporting, project delivery, and financial planning. The role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to drive process improvements. This is an initial 6 month contract, that will play an important role in a large group setting. To be considered for the role, it is essential to be available at short notice (4 week notice periods are considered) and have a can-do attitude to take on the expectations with this position.

About you

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 3+ years PQE
  • Strong background in financial reporting and audit support
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Able to engage senior stakeholders and manage change effectively
  • Experience with SAP and in complex or regulated industries (desirable)

What you'll do

  • Manage handover and transition of core finance duties
  • Deliver monthly group reporting and assist with external audit queries
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and working capital analysis
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial submissions and KPI tracking
  • Identify process improvements and contribute to ongoing efficiency projects
