Vanrath are delighted to be recruiting for an exciting opportunity with one of our large Public Sector Clients. You will be responsible for the development and provision of high quality information and analysis to support all functions within the organisation. This role is approx for a 12 month period (possible extension after this) and should be seen as an excellent chance to get your foot in the door for a permanent role or other contracts. It also offers Hybrid working (after initial training it will be 2-3 days at home). This would be an ideal opportunity for someone with 1+ years of data analyst experience (ideally with some form of financial reporting).
Responsibilities
- Work closely with team colleagues to ensure the provision of high quality management information and analysis to support the business.
- Involved in the production of high quality management information and analysis to assist in the monitoring and measurement of key goals, targets and objectives across performance management and service improvement, commissioning services and financial management.
- Contribute to the development of effective and efficient information flows and the exploitation of all existing data sources and assist in the development of data collection and analysis in new areas of performance management in order to improve the availability of information for monitoring purposes and service improvement.
- Auditing data quality to ensure that the correct procedures and systems are in place to enable consistency and accuracy in the capturing and recording of information including follow up with stakeholders regarding queries and issues.
Salary £29,970 + Enhanced Holiday Pay + Pension + Discount Benefits.
Essential Criteria
- UK recognised University Degree either in Data, mathematics or economics and 1 years previous experience as a Data Analyst OR 3 years experience of working in Information Management or Information Systems and experience in analysis using analytical tools (examples: Microsoft Office products, SQL, Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI etc.).
