Contract Duration: 3+ months, possibility of extension / move to perm

Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm)

This is a great opportunity to get some project experience within a leading public-sector organisation who are seeking a dedicated Systems Support Officer to join its project team responsible for delivering a new allocations module and Customer Applicant Portal.

This Systems Support Officer role will support system configuration, testing and implementation, helping to ensure successful delivery of key project outcomes.

About the Role

As a Systems Support Officer, you will collaborate with business teams, IT suppliers and project stakeholders to support system enhancements and ensure requirements are accurately met. You will contribute to system development activities and assist in the rollout of new processes integral to the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support configuration, testing and implementation of system components.
  • Work with internal and external partners to translate business needs into system requirements.
  • Assist in identifying system improvements and ensuring technical solutions align with project objectives.
  • Contribute to collaborative project delivery as part of the wider implementation team.

Essential Criteria

To be considered for the Systems Support Officer position, applicants must have:

  • A degree in IT or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience in systems support / management.
  • Experience supporting requirements for, or contributing to, new IT system implementation or enhancements.
  • Available and able to commit to contract completion.
