VANRATH is delighted to be partnering with a well established, award-winning manufacturing business in the Lisburn area on the appointment of an Inbound Logistics Co-Ordinator. This is a genuinely varied supply chain role within a busy, multi-site operation, managing the high-volume inbound flow of raw materials, components and finished goods. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will own the inbound freight desk, keeping deliveries cost effective, compliant and on time while holding strong customs, audit and regulatory standards.
It will suit a self-starter who can run their own desk and take real ownership of the function. Permanent, full time 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 2pm Lisburn based, with travel between sites as required Salary £30,000 to £35,000, monthly paid The Role Key responsibilities include: Co-ordinate all inbound shipments across multiple manufacturing and warehouse sites Allocate inbound shipments to the best transport mode based on cost, lead time and material type Manage high-volume containerised, groupage and courier freight Act as the primary point of contact for freight forwarders, shipping lines and customs agents Prepare and manage TSS declarations for inbound movements, and handle duty reimbursement for GB-NI inbounds Maintain compliant customs documentation and support inspections or clearance queries Monitor shipment progress and resolve delays or risks before they escalate Support internal and external audits and keep auditable logistics records Work closely with purchasing, production, warehouse and finance teams across the sites Track inbound logistics KPIs and drive continuous improvement The Ideal Candidate Three years' experience in an inbound logistics or supply chain role within a high-volume manufacturing environment Experience managing multi-site inbound logistics operations Hands-on experience with freight forwarders, shipping lines and hauliers Practical experience managing TSS clearances and customs processes, including duty reimbursement for GB-NI shipments Experience supporting internal and external audits Proficient on Microsoft Office, in particular Excel Detail focused with a strong compliance mindset Commercially aware, with a focus on cost control and service performance Desirable Import background and knowledge of HMRC import and export regulations Previous experience within an FMCG or manufacturing environment Experience of Microsoft Navision Package and Benefits 32 days annual leave, with additional days for long service Life assurance after one year's service Health shield benefit after six months Paid allowance for medical appointments Discount on company products up to 50% Employee referral scheme and DELL corporate discounts Recognition and long service awards On-site parking Skills: Logistics Supply Chain Freight Manufacturing Distribution Multi-site Benefits: Excellent Benefits ADZN1_NI
