Salary: £45-55,000 - open to discussions based on experience (+ great additional pension benefits)

Location: Belfast

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Work Pattern: Monday-Friday, standard operational hours, hybrid working arrangements (3 days from home)

You will be joining a Belfast-based company which has built a strong reputation for innovation within the telecoms sector. Within the role you will get hands-on infrastructure engineering experience, having great ownership over your work and get exposure to working with experienced specialists.

Essential:
  • Strong hands-on Linux administration experience, ideally within Debian/Ubuntu production environments
  • Solid troubleshooting ability across infrastructure, servers, networking and system performance issues
  • Experience with scripting/automation using Bash, Python or similar tools
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, VPNs, routing and firewalls
  • Experience supporting databases such as PostgreSQL and/or MySQL/MariaDB in live environments
Desirable:
  • AWS/cloud infrastructure experience
  • Exposure to SIP/VoIP or telecoms environments
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, or configuration management tools
  • Experience working within high-availability or large-scale production environments
