VANRATH is delighted to be partnering with a leading public sector organisation to recruit an HR & OD Coordinator for an initial temporary assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator to join a busy HR & Organisation Development team, supporting the delivery of a high-quality HR service across a large and dynamic organisation.
The Role
- Providing confidential administrative support across the HR & OD function
- Maintaining and updating HR information systems and employee records
- Supporting workforce analytics and producing HR reports
- Assisting with recruitment, employee relations, attendance management and organisational development activities
- Supporting managers with HR policies and procedures
- Coordinating HR documentation and records management systems
- Processing invoices, purchase orders and associated administrative tasks
- Assisting with employee induction and training administration
- Ensuring data accuracy and integrity across HR systems
- Providing general support to the wider HR & OD team as required
The Person
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
Essential Criteria
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grade A-C) or equivalent
- At least 3 years' relevant administrative experience
- Experience maintaining computerised information systems
- Strong IT and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Working knowledge of HR Information Systems
Desirable
- Previous experience within HR administration or a public sector environment
- Experience supporting reporting and workforce analytics
