About you:
- You bring experience in construction estimating, quantity surveying, or relevant commercial roles
- You possess a solid understanding of construction methodologies and cost planning principles
- You have excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and working effectively within tight deadlines are among your strengths
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential
- You are either degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or are working towards such qualifications
- Experience with estimating software is advantageous but not mandatory
What you'll do:
- Support the preparation of accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for multiple construction projects
- Carry out quantity take-offs and measurements from drawings and documentation
- Assist in compiling cost breakdowns, pricing schedules, and budget estimates
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to gather competitive pricing and ensure scope coverage
- Support bid management by organising tender documentation and analysing supply chain quotations
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in estimating processes and data recording
- Help prepare for client meetings and tender interviews, enhancing your exposure to stakeholder engagement
