VANRATH is working with a well established Belfast business on the appointment of a Customer Service Administrator within a fast growing division of the company. Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor and Excellence Manager, you will sit at the centre of the order process, handling order administration, producing shipping documentation across all payment terms for multi modal shipments and dealing with both internal departments and external customers. Registration dossiers form a key part of the role, so accuracy and paperwork of the highest standard are essential. This will suit a self motivated administrator looking for a fresh challenge with genuine scope to develop.

The Role

  • Create all order administration and documentation to a professional standard, from receipt of order through to payment
  • Become the in house expert on producing paperwork for Letters of Credit
  • Complete registration dossiers and the tasks that go with compiling them
  • Ensure company compliance with tariff codes, import duties and the documentation required for target markets
  • Manage shipments from loading through to unloading as part of the team, keeping risk and cost to a minimum
  • Liaise with internal departments and customers so all business requirements are met to a high level
  • Maintain and record monthly KPI data for the order and registration admin function
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of export logistics and administration processes as the business grows
  • Deliver best in class standards and promote a culture of excellence in a fast moving environment

The Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum two years' experience within the export industry
  • Good working knowledge of international trade documents such as Certificates of Origin and EUR1s
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to deal with people at all levels
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, comfortable prioritising and working under pressure
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a highly motivated approach
  • Good IT skills across standard Microsoft packages
  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable

  • Third level qualification or courses taken in international transport or logistics
  • Experience within the agri feed industry
  • Knowledge of registration processes and the documentation involved in registration dossiers
  • A second language
