As part of its continued expansion, the business is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new sales within the UK Public Sector.
Role Overview:The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering against individual sales targets, identifying, developing, and closing high-value opportunities that contribute to both immediate revenue growth and long-term strategic partnerships. This role is suited to a high-performing sales professional with a strong track record in business development, ideally within learning solutions, digital platforms, or related technology services. Experience in selling bespoke digital learning content is highly desirable.
You will work within a collaborative, high-performance sales environment with strong leadership support and access to a strong client base and market reputation.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify, manage, and close high-value opportunities across the UK, Ireland, and international markets to meet quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Develop and position the company as a long-term strategic partner, offering custom digital learning content, platform solutions, and consultancy services.
- Engage with senior decision-makers across government, healthcare, and commercial organisations through events, digital campaigns, and personal networks.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities using a consultative, solution-led sales approach.
- Collaborate with internal teams to shape compelling proposals and client solutions.
- Represent the business at industry events and networking opportunities.
- Around 2-3 years’ experience in business development or sales, preferably within e-learning, EdTech, SaaS, or digital services.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding personal sales targets.
- Strong consultative and solution-based selling skills.
- Experience building and managing senior-level client relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results independently.
- Degree or higher qualification in a business-related field.
- Experience selling into public sector, healthcare, or enterprise clients.
- Demonstrated success in closing large-scale deals (£100K+).
- Experience using CRM and marketing automation tools.
- Familiarity with digital learning products or learning technology platforms.
Location: Based in Belfast with flexibility for remote or hybrid working.
