The facility accommodates up to six young residents, including a dedicated independent flat for those preparing for independent living.
Their focus is on providing a safe, nurturing environment that promotes growth, development, and transition into independent life, working within the principles of the Northern Ireland Framework for Integrated Care and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention.
About you
QCF/RQF/NVQ Level 3 in a care-related subject and at least 1 year of relevant experience working with 11-17-year-olds, or QCF/RQF/NVQ Level 2 in a care-related subject or 4 GCSEs including maths and English and 2 years of paid experience, or 3 years of relevant paid experience working with young people aged 11-17 Full, valid UK driving licence with unrestricted manual transmission entitlement Commitment to adhere to NISCC Standards of Conduct and Practice, with maintained professional registration What you'll do Provide a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment fostering the personal growth of young people Deliver care in accordance with policies, legislative guidelines, and departmental standards Support young people aged 11-17 and UASC in developing life skills, confidence, and resilience Work in partnership with colleagues, families, and external agencies to promote holistic care and well-being Promote a nurturing atmosphere aligned with the organisation's ethos and care frameworks For further information on this job, apply via the link or contact the VANRATH office for a confidential chat today.
