A leading manufacturing business based in the Lisburn area requires a Project Accountant to join their team immediately. Are you experienced within the month end management accounting processes, and are you available at short notice?

Salary: £38,000 - £50,000 depending on experience

Opportunity to join a market leading business

This is an interim position and is initially advertised for a period of 3 months, with the view to extension. This role will support the Financial Controller with the preparation of monthly management accounts and will provide support to several key projects within the business. Interviewing immediately.

About you:

  • Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Strong working knowledge of management accounts
  • Ability to pick up new skills and processes
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment (beneficial)
  • Available at short notice

What you'll do:

  • Preparing monthly prepayment and accrual journals
  • Producing monthly general ledger control account reconciliations
  • Running the monthly budget reports and analysing expenditure and variances in advance of monthly meetings
  • Producing high quality, reliable, accurate and timely financial information for internal and external stakeholders
