About you
- ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualified with relevant higher education or equivalent experience
- Significant experience in a senior finance role, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or similar sectors
- Proven experience managing finance teams and leading statutory and management reporting
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing costing, inventory management, and financial controls
- Experience handling external audits and working with ERP systems
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
- Resilient, adaptable, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
What you'll do
- Oversee monthly financial closes, produce management accounts, and deliver KPI reports punctually and accurately
- Maintain robust internal controls, manage balance sheet reconciliations, and oversee cash flow reporting
- Manage statutory compliance including VAT, corporation tax, and external audits
- Lead manufacturing finance activities such as standard costing, inventory control, and margin analysis
- Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to support strategic decision-making
- Develop and mentor the finance team, encouraging continuous improvement
- Implement system enhancements and support automation initiatives to optimise processes
