VANRATH are assisting a leading firm in Belfast City Centre with the recruitment of a Litigation Secretary.
The role will be performed within Monday – Friday (Flexibility available if required) – Based in Belfast City Centre.
This is a fantastic opportunity for any legal secretary with relevant experience to establish themselves within a top firm that looks after and gives various incentives to their staff. This is a top firm.

Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently complete digital dictation and other typing assignments.
- Maintain and update the firm\’s case management system with relevant documents and information.
- Prepare briefs for counsel and compile court books for hearings, trials, and motions.
- Handle general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning.
- Schedule medical and specialist appointments as required.
- Client Interaction: Manage incoming calls, relay messages, and communicate with clients on behalf of Partners and Solicitors.
- Open, date-stamp, and scan incoming mail, and save correspondence to appropriate client files.
The Ideal Person
- Essential – at least 1 years\’ experience in a Legal Secretary position
- Litigation Experience preferred
- Effective time management – prioritise work for solicitor,
- Diary management,
- Good communication skills and telephone manner
