We're working with an established organisation looking to add a hands-on Network & Infrastructure Engineer to its technical team. This is a fully on-site role based within a busy production environment, where you'll take ownership of the day-to-day IT infrastructure supporting the site's operations. The role has a strong networking focus, with plenty of hands-on work across routers, switches, connectivity and wider network infrastructure, alongside general IT and infrastructure support.
What You'll be Doing
- Provide day-to-day technical support across IT infrastructure, networks, servers, endpoints and connected devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across a range of systems and applications, taking ownership through to resolution.
- Help maintain a secure, reliable and well-managed IT environment, including system updates, maintenance and ongoing improvements.
- Work alongside wider IT teams and third-party suppliers on technical issues, changes and improvement projects.
- Contribute to IT processes, documentation, system standards and business continuity.
- Support the introduction and development of new technologies and digital solutions across the site.
Experience
We're looking for an IT professional with at least 2 years' experience who has gained hands-on exposure to networks and technical support. You'll ideally have experience across:
- Routers, switches & networking infrastructure
- Connected/IoT devices and operational technology
- Infrastructure applications and systems
- General troubleshooting and technical problem solving
- IT service management processes
