About you
- Qualified Accounts Technician (ATI or equivalent) or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, CAI, ACCA)
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within manufacturing or a related industry
- Experience with ERP systems (Navision preferred)
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with non-finance colleagues
- Knowledge of statutory reporting and month-end procedures
- Open to applications from both fully qualified and part-qualified professionals
What you'll do
- Support sales and purchase ledger processing and resolve related queries
- Assist in bank reconciliations and review general ledger entries
- Prepare and analyse month-end and year-end financial reports
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts including banks, stocks, and fixed assets
- Contribute to compliance with VAT, EC Sales, Intrastat, and similar statutory returns
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and develop internal KPI reports
- Provide ad hoc support and insightful financial analysis to senior team members
