VANRATH are recruiting a Joiner to work within the Building Maintenance department for a large, leading Construction Company in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The Joiner will be working on Fire Doors on repairs and maintenance contracts.

£28,620 + van / fuel / package

General Overview
Responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of joinery components within residential properties managed by the company. This role combines expertise in joinery with skills in general maintenance tasks to ensure properties are structurally sound, aesthetically pleasing, and functional.
Responsibilities Include
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood, composite, or metal components to construct or repair doors, windows, cabinets, and other joinery items
- Install and fit joinery components including locks, handles, hinges, and fittings
- Repair or replace damaged joinery components such as skirting boards, staircases, and kitchen units
- Installation of fire doors
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete assigned work orders within specified timelines
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
The Ideal Person
- NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Joinery
- Relevant experience in joinery work including installation and repair
- Track record working in a similar role within construction or maintenance
- Good knowledge of Joiner materials, tools and techniques
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Valid CSCS/CSR card
- Relevant on-site experience in similar role
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Full, valid, clean driving license
