Ready to lead a real HR transformation that delivers practical change, not just new software? We're supporting our client to recruit for a HR Transformation Lead who will support the implementation of HBHR - a new HR system that will reshape how their HR team (and the wider organisation) manages key people processes from day one.

About your next employer

You'll join an established organisation in a Human Resources function during an important systems and ways-of-working upgrade. This temporary assignment focuses on the HR functional rollout of HBHR across HRIS/database, ATS, and Time & Attendance, working closely with the HR Director, IT, the system vendor/implementation partner, and stakeholders across the business.

About you

  • Demonstrable experience preparing an HR team for a new HR system / HRIS implementation
  • Strong understanding of core HR processes (e.g. recruitment, onboarding, payroll inputs, absence, performance, and reporting) and how they map to system workflows
  • Proven experience in change management, training delivery, and stakeholder engagement
  • Comfortable working with HR data - preparation, cleansing, and validation for migration, with GDPR awareness
  • Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical detail into plain language for non-technical users
  • Highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and keep the programme on track

What you'll do

  • Act as the HR functional lead for the HBHR rollout, coordinating between HR, IT, and the vendor/implementation partner
  • Assess current HR processes, map them to the new system, and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities to improve
  • Drive readiness through testing support (including UAT), issue tracking, and ensuring a smooth move to go-live
  • Develop and deliver the change and communications plan, building engagement and enabling end users through training and support

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience supporting go-live activities, including floor-walking and hands-on user support
  • Prior involvement in HR system rollouts covering HRIS/database, ATS, and Time & Attendance
  • Experience producing SOPs, workflow documentation, and practical training materials that drive adoption

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Relevant degree level education (or equivalent experience) in a related discipline
  • Solid hands-on experience leading HR system functional change as part of a successful implementation

Other Requirements

  • Temporary contract for 6-8 months
  • Office-based working
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with HR, IT, the vendor/implementation partner, and cross-business stakeholders
