VANRATH is proud to partner with a prominent manufacturing organisation based in Belfast to recruit an experienced Human Resources Officer. This is a temporary 3-month contract, offering a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a well-established HR function within a fast-paced industrial environment.

What You\’ll Be Doing
Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will provide hands-on HR support across a range of key activities, with a strong focus on:

Advising line managers and employees on employee relations matters such as grievances, disciplinaries, and attendance management.

Managing or supporting low-level investigations and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Playing an active role in recruitment and onboarding processes, including interview coordination and documentation handling.

Maintaining accurate HR records and supporting the preparation of reports and metrics.

Assisting in delivering wellbeing programmes, HR projects, and wider organisational initiatives.

Drafting contracts, employment letters, and job descriptions.

Supporting community engagement projects including school outreach and careers events.
What We\’re Looking For
Essential Criteria:

Relevant third-level qualification and/or CIPD certification.

At least 3 years of experience in a generalist HR position.

Proven track record in managing employee relations cases and advising line managers.

Strong working knowledge of employment legislation.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.

Competency with Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
Desirable:

Experience working with HR/time management systems.
