- Proven experience in HR management within the public sector or a similar environment
- Strong knowledge of staff training, succession planning, and HR systems (e.g., Hark)
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Ability to work autonomously and adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
What you'll do
- Lead the development and implementation of the staff training plan for 2026/28
- Manage the procurement and execution of skills audits to inform future training strategies
- Develop a simple yet effective succession plan for the organisation
- Monitor training applications and manage the training budget effectively
- Assist in the rollout of the organisation's hybrid working policy and adapt it as needed
- Collaborate with senior management to ensure HR initiatives support organisational goals
