The role will be focused on delivering a strategic people agenda across a complex, multi-site environment. The role combines workforce planning, organisational design and employee relations expertise with strong commercial insight to support business performance.

About You / Candidate Requirements

  • MCIPD qualified HR professional with a strong academic background, ideally including a Master's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to interpret financial and operational data, including key performance and balance sheet indicators.
  • Up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of employment law and its practical application in complex workplace situations.
  • Solid understanding of learning, talent development and organisational development principles.
  • Proven experience operating as a senior HR professional in a standalone or senior advisory capacity within a commercially driven, multi-site or complex organisation.
  • Extensive hands-on experience managing employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, attendance and performance matters.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex organisational change, including restructures, TUPE, redundancy, redeployment and employment tribunal processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply sound judgement in complex and fast-moving environments.
  • Experience coaching and developing managers to improve leadership effectiveness and people management capability.
  • Experience designing and delivering engaging training sessions to support capability and organisational objectives.

What You'll Do / Key Responsibilities

  • Gain a strong understanding of regional performance and key workforce indicators, using insight from financial and operational data to inform effective people planning.
  • Shape and deliver a forward-looking, prioritised workforce strategy aligned to wider organisational goals, ensuring initiatives are implemented successfully.
  • Lead ongoing review and enhancement of organisational design and staffing models to ensure agility, efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Use workforce analytics to anticipate future capability and resourcing needs, developing short, medium and long-term plans in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Champion internal mobility and career development pathways to support talent growth, engagement and retention.
  • Ensure robust delivery of learning, training and compliance requirements, identifying skills gaps and supporting targeted development solutions.
  • Lead and support significant organisational change programmes, including restructures, TUPE activity, service openings and closures, and role redesign.
  • Build trusted and constructive relationships with employee representatives, supporting meaningful consultation and negotiation where required.
  • Coach and empower managers to strengthen leadership capability, improve employee engagement and reduce employee relations issues.
  • Ensure consistent, fair and compliant application of HR policies and practices across the region, embedding high standards throughout.
