About You / Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience in an HR or administrative support role within a fast-paced environment
  • Basic understanding of employment legislation and HR processes
  • Exposure to employee relations or absence management processes would be advantageous
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and confident using HR systems/databases
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively

What You'll Do / Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day HR support to colleagues and line managers across a range of general HR queries
  • Assist in the administration and monitoring of absence management processes, ensuring accurate system updates and appropriate follow-up actions
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with internal procedures
  • Support the coordination of employee relations processes, including preparation of documentation and note-taking where required
  • Assist in the preparation of HR reports and data analysis relating to absence, headcount, and other key metrics
  • Support the administration of statutory and contractual leave processes
  • Liaise with internal departments to help resolve HR-related queries in a timely manner
  • Contribute to audit preparation, compliance checks, and policy adherence activities
  • Assist with ongoing HR projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Provide general administrative support to the wider HR function as required
