VANRATH is partnering with a well-established organisation to appoint an HR Advisor to provide expert guidance and support across employee relations, compliance, and workforce matters. This role suits a proactive HR professional with strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and employee relations, who can deliver practical solutions, ensure compliance, and support managers in making informed, strategic people decisions.
What do you need?
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or actively working towards).
- Proven experience in an HR advisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Northern Ireland employment law.
- Experience managing employee relations cases from start to finish.
- Practical experience supporting or managing compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail in documentation and record-keeping.
- Ability to manage multiple sites and balance competing priorities.
What you will do each day
- Advise managers on HR, performance, conduct, and complex safeguarding matters.
- Lead or support investigations, disciplinary hearings, grievances, and appeals.
- Maintain accurate, compliant personnel records and right-to-work documentation.
- Conduct compliance audits and produce HR and regulatory reports.
- Ensure HR practices meet employment law, care regulations, and safeguarding standards.
- Develop, implement, and train managers on HR policies.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce compliance.
