Job Title: HR Advisor Location: Belfast Salary: Up to £36,000 Contract: Permanent, full-time Summary VANRATH is recruiting an experienced HR professional for a client in Belfast to support managers and employees across a range of people matters. The role suits someone who enjoys tackling complex HR challenges, leading investigations, and driving initiatives that enhance culture and performance. What do you need? At least 2 years\’ experience providing advice and guidance on the full range of HR issues, including staff handbooks, policies, and procedures. Direct experience in leading and conducting workplace investigations, including producing investigation reports with conclusions and recommendations for decision-makers. Confident in providing guidance on HR policies, employment matters, and workplace best practice. Good understanding of employment legislation and practical HR processes. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. CIPD Level 5 qualified, or actively working towards Level 5 with substantial relevant HR experience (e.g., 5+ years). What you will do each day Partner with managers and teams to provide practical HR advice and support. Lead or support workplace investigations in a fair and structured manner, producing clear reports with actionable recommendations. Help shape HR initiatives that improve processes, engagement, and employee experience. Maintain clear and accurate records of HR activities and outcomes. Support the development of HR knowledge and tools to enhance consistency and best practice. Coach and mentor colleagues where appropriate, contributing to team development. Participate in continuous professional development, keeping skills and knowledge up to date. Adapt to changing priorities, contributing to broader HR projects and organisational goals.
