About the Role: Vanrath is pleased to support a well-known local public sector organisation with a temporary opportunity for an HR Administrator (Learning and Development). This role is a key part of the Human Resources Directorate, providing vital administrative support to the Learning and Development team., * Deliver confidential administrative support for various Learning and Development functions in compliance with organisational policies and relevant legislation.

Manage administrative and reception duties, including the production of course materials, maintaining course documentation, and serving as the first point of contact for visitors and callers.

Ensure accurate and up-to-date Learning and Development records.

Assist in the implementation and optimization of a new Learning Management System (LMS).

Collaborate with the Learning and Development Team and other staff to create professional documentation and course materials.

Produce accurate reports and statistics on Learning and Development activities.

Design high-quality internal and external communications in line with corporate guidelines.

Maintain staff records, including attendance management and personal files.
-
Organise Learning and Development events, including booking venues, travel, accommodation, and catering.

Ensure IT and AV resources are available and maintained, providing support and training as needed.

Process travel and subsistence claims for personnel attending courses.

Ensure compliance with registration and certification procedures of Awarding Bodies.

At least 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent), including English and Maths.

A minimum of two years’ experience in a Learning and Development administration role, OR four years’ experience in such a role.

Proficiency in Windows and other Microsoft applications.

Demonstrable skills in planning, organization, prioritization, attention to detail, effective communication, and customer service orientation., * Experience in a Learning and Development administration role within a large, multi-site, multi-disciplinary organization.

Competence in using Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress.

Basic maintenance skills for Audio Visual equipment.

Working towards CIPD membership or a training qualification such as CIPD Certificate in Training Practice.

Experience within local government or the public sector.
