You'll be joining an established organisation providing support and services within a social care environment. The successful candidate will work as part of a dedicated Administration team, providing essential support to Social Care Managers and wider Corporate Service functions.
About you
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Business Administration or 5 GCSEs including English and Maths
- Relevant office administration experience
- Minute taking experience
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Previous experience within Health & Social Care would be advantageous
What you'll do
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to Social Care Managers and the wider team
- Maintain accurate and confidential service user records
- Process and record incident reports in line with regulatory and stakeholder requirements
- Prepare reports, correspondence and administrative documentation
- Attend meetings, take notes and prepare accurate minutes
- Respond to telephone enquiries and provide professional reception cover
- Meet and greet visitors and staff
- Liaise with staff, regulatory bodies and relevant stakeholders
- Provide information and administrative support as requested by management
- Complete general and ad hoc administrative duties as required
