About you

  • Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
  • Extensive experience managing transport operations within an Operator Licence environment
  • Transport Manager CPC qualification and eligible to act as nominated Transport Manager
  • Deep understanding of Operator Licence obligations, driver hours legislation, tachograph compliance, and vehicle maintenance
  • Proven ability to develop and implement transport strategies and manage cross-border logistics
  • Excellent organisational skills with high attention to compliance and documentation accuracy

What you'll do

  • Lead the Transport & Logistics function across the UK, Ireland, and Europe, overseeing all transport operations and fleet management
  • Maintain and develop compliance with Operator Licences, managing audits and liaising with regulatory bodies
  • Manage vehicle procurement, maintenance, and fleet performance, ensuring safety and efficiency standards are met
  • Develop and execute a transport strategy aligned with company growth and sustainability goals
  • Oversee logistics relationships, negotiate contracts, and optimise cross-border customs and freight processes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and technological adoption
  • Visit the UK site at Mallusk every second week for operational oversight and team engagement
