The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, managing audits, and supporting ongoing financial planning and compliance processes. You'll also take the lead on improving systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and support wider business goals. This is a long-term interim position and is suitable for candidates who are fully qualified within their professional qualifications, with at least 2 years' experience within a financial accounting or reporting role.
About you:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA)
- Experience of financial reporting
- Strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel
- Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Available at short notice
What you'll do:
- Preparation of monthly and annual accounts, accruals & prepayments, journal entries & month end reconciliations
- Monitoring and recasting cash flow
- Ensure accuracy of financial systems
- Assist in the development of three-year financial planning projections
- Application of financial controls, adherence to internal control procedures
