Client VANRATH are delighted to be working with an established Public Sector Organisation in Holywood who are recruiting a Finance Assistant to join their team. The role will play an integral support role within the Finance and Governance Department and across the organisation. The role will assist in a range of activities to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the organisation's finance and governance affairs are achieved. Interviewing immediately.

The Ideal Person

  • A minimum of 2 GCSEs (Grade C or above) in Maths and English or equivalent and at least 6 months' experience in an administrative role within a fast-paced, public-facing environment; or 2 years' relevant administrative experience.

Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable duties in preparation of weekly supplier payment runs
  • Allocate purchase orders and goods receipts to supplier invoices
  • Process invoice and Direct Debit payments to domestic and international suppliers
  • Ensure all accounts payable activities and transactions comply with all financial processes and procedures
  • Assist with audit process when required
