Finance Assistant

Vanrath is delighted to be searching for a Finance Assistant to join a busy manufacturing company in the Antrim area. The Finance Assistant will assist the established finance function with all transactional responsibilities.

As a Finance Assistant, you will be working alongside the Company Accountant and Finance Director. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Maintaining the accounting systems
  2. Maintaining the Purchase and Sales Ledgers as required
  3. Assisting with month-end financial procedures including reconciliations and the production of financial reports
  4. Assisting with credit control as required
  5. Assisting with annual audit and year-end accounts production
  6. Assisting the Finance Manager with collating, evaluating, and reporting on departmental accounts as required

The Ideal Candidate

The Finance Assistant should have the following:

  • 2+ years experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong numerical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
