Role Overview
Our client, a leading specialist in smoke ventilation systems, is looking for an experienced Technical Facilities Manager to oversee planned and reactive maintenance services across Ireland. This hybrid role combines technical leadership, field support, and client management to ensure compliance, safety, and high-quality service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support mobile engineering teams across multiple locations.
- Serve as the primary liaison for client estates and facilities teams.
- Ensure adherence to BS EN 12101 standards and health & safety regulations.
- Manage planned maintenance programs and coordinate emergency call-outs.
- Conduct site audits, produce service reports, and perform performance evaluations.
- Assist with quotations, remedial works, and system upgrades.
- Work closely with Projects and Sales teams to support client retention and business growth.
- Keep up-to-date with fire safety legislation and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Experience in facilities management, engineering supervision, or building services.
- Strong knowledge of smoke ventilation, fire safety, or M&E systems.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Relevant qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (HNC/HND or equivalent).
- Familiarity with CAFM systems and digital reporting tools.
- Full UK/ROI driving licence with flexibility to travel across Ireland.
