VANRATH are proud to be working with a leading manufacturing organisation in the appointment of a Facilities Manager for their Dunmurry operation.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a background in facilities or plant management within a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Responsibilities
The appointed individual will take ownership of maintaining, developing, and optimising all site facilities and infrastructure. Key duties will include:
- Managing external service providers and reviewing contracts to ensure best value between outsourcing and internal delivery.
- Leading the delivery of site improvement projects, from planning through to installation and commissioning.
- Monitoring and reporting on energy usage (gas, electricity, utilities) with a focus on efficiency and sustainability.
- Identifying and implementing cost savings through supplier performance management and operational improvements.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements while driving continuous improvement in site services.
Essential Criteria
Applicants should demonstrate one of the following:
- HND (or equivalent) in Engineering, Building Services, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years\' experience in facilities/plant maintenance. OR
- At least 5 years\' proven experience in a facilities, maintenance, or plant management role within manufacturing or industrial environments.
Additionally, candidates must show:
- Strong experience managing teams and contractors.
- Confidence in supplier/contract negotiation.
- Proven ability to coordinate on-site service and maintenance activities.
Desirable Criteria
Not essential, but the following would be advantageous:
- Degree qualification in Engineering or Building Services.
- Background in continuous production environments.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver cost reduction projects and efficiency improvements.
- Hands-on project management experience.
