Vanrath are delighted to be supporting the recruitment of an Examinations Officer for a large public sector company within the Ballymena area on a temp basis., As an Examination Officer, you will provide administrative support for the Examination’s function within the College.
What you’ll do
-
Providing general advice on examination queries and services, issuing accurate up-to-date information on timetables, statements of entry and examination regulations.

Processing registration/entries and qualification/examination results on QLS.

Assisting the Line Manager with the conduct of examination and on-line tests; including associated administration of documents in accordance with Awarding Body and College regulations and policies.

General administrative duties including, mail, reprographics, filing and data processing as required. Assisting Line Manager in preparing examinations, delivery and collecting of examination papers to and from out centres and despatching papers to the Awarding Bodies.

To organise and correspond with invigilators for examinations within the main campus and out centres.

Undertake evening duties during examination times.

Adhere to college policies and procedures on security and use of data.

Undertake any other relevant duties identified by line management.

Duties may change as the College develops, therefore the person appointed will be expected to be flexible in relation to duties performed, subject to consultation.

Applicants must have English Language and Maths grades A – C or equivalent.

Applicants must have 6 months’ experience working in an office environment in the last 3 years with duties including:

answering phones
-
responding to emails
-
customer interaction
-
using IT applications
-
Reading, understanding and applying written instructions.

Applicants must have 6 months’ experience within the last 3 years of IT/keyboard skills and customer service skills.
