About you
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Law, Public/Social Policy, or related fields
- Demonstrate at least 3 years' experience managing equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives in a large organisation
- Strong knowledge of equality legislation, including Section 75 of the NI Act 1998
- Skilled in conducting equality impact assessments, consultations, and policy development
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively
What you'll do
- Lead the implementation of the organisation's Equality Scheme, Disability Action Plan, and Inclusion Objectives
- Develop policies and guidance to ensure compliance with equality legislation and promote inclusivity
- Manage equality monitoring, impact assessments, and stakeholder consultations
- Provide expert advice to management and staff on equality, safeguarding, and related policiesDesign and deliver training programmes on equality and safeguarding matters
- Support safeguarding services, including liaising with relevant organisations and reviewing policies
- Coordinate outreach and awareness campaigns to promote diversity and inclusion
- Contribute to strategic projects that enhance equality and safeguard service delivery
