VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a progressive and growing Chartered Accountancy practice to recruit a Chartered Accountant on a part-time basis (3 / 4 days per week). This opportunity would suit an experienced practice professional seeking greater flexibility while continuing to work closely with a varied and loyal client portfolio. The role offers significant autonomy, client interaction and the opportunity to play an important role within a well-established local practice.
The Role
Working three of four days per week, you will support a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, providing accounts preparation, advisory support and client relationship management. The successful candidate will become a trusted point of contact for clients and work closely with senior leadership.
What You Will Do
- Prepare and review year-end accounts for a varied client portfolio
- Support management accounts and financial reporting assignments
- Provide practical advice and guidance to business owners
- Review bookkeeping records and accounting systems
- Assist with tax compliance and planning assignments
- Build strong long-term client relationships
- Support junior team members where required
- Identify opportunities to improve client processes and efficiencies

Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Strong accountancy practice background
- Experience preparing and reviewing statutory accounts

- Experience with cloud accounting software desirable
