Are you an experienced Electrical Testing & Inspection Engineer looking to join a market-leading organisation with a strong pipeline of work across Northern Ireland? Due to continued growth, an established and highly respected facilities management and engineering business is seeking an Electrical Testing & Inspection Engineer to join its expanding team.

The Role

Working across a range of commercial and industrial sites throughout Northern Ireland, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical inspection, testing, condition reporting, fault finding, and minor installation works. You'll play a key role in ensuring compliance, maintaining high safety standards, and delivering exceptional service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
  • Perform inspection and testing of new and existing electrical installations
  • Undertake fault finding, defect repairs and minor installation works
  • Identify and report non-compliant electrical installations
  • Complete all certification and documentation accurately and on time
  • Liaise with clients and colleagues to deliver effective technical solutions
  • Support project delivery within agreed timescales
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with current regulations and health & safety requirements
  • Travel to customer sites across Northern Ireland as required

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Completed electrical apprenticeship C&G Level 3 (2357 or equivalent)
  • AM2 qualification
  • City & Guilds 2394/2395 (or 2391)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience carrying out electrical testing and inspection work
  • Strong knowledge of current IET Wiring Regulations
  • Experience working on commercial and industrial electrical installations
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong attention to detail and administration skills

Desirable

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • City & Guilds 2377
  • CSCS/CSR Card
  • Experience in planned and reactive maintenance environments
  • IPAF certification
  • High Voltage Awareness training
  • Confined Space training
