VANRATH is working with an award-winning print and brand design business in Belfast on the appointment of an E-Commerce Specialist. Having rebuilt their e-commerce offering, they now need the right person to come in and help realise its potential. This is a hands-on role with a strong e-commerce focus, combining e-commerce management, website optimisation, digital marketing and digital product development. You will maximise online revenue across the websites, print-to-digital offerings and wider digital portfolio, while keeping the customer experience seamless and delivering measurable commercial growth. A key understanding of data is essential, particularly around maintaining and updating website products. It will suit someone commercially minded and analytically strong, technically confident and with the creative flair to make things look great and work even better.
The Role
- Develop and implement the e-commerce and digital marketing strategy across both brands, keeping a consistent and engaging brand presence
- Influence the e-commerce product portfolio and commercial proposition using data-driven insight to maximise sales
- Manage website content, product data, landing pages, promotions and merchandising through the CMS
- Maintain and update website products accurately, using data to keep the offering current and correct
- Keep websites technically sound, mobile responsive and SEO compliant
- Monitor website performance, uptime, page speed and usability
- Maintain and shape the online content and UX journey for a seamless customer experience
- Create and execute promotional activity and concepts to drive customer engagement
- Manage the digital marketing calendar to keep everything on track and maximise impact
- Track digital marketing performance and turn the data into actionable recommendations
- Oversee the digital marketing budget
- Create compelling blogs and content
- Manage the organic social media channels across both brands, responding to comments and building relationships with customers, prospects and partners
The Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, e-commerce, business or a related field
- Minimum three years' experience as an e-commerce and digital specialist
- Strong data ability, particularly around maintaining and updating website product information
- Experience managing websites and e-commerce platforms through a CMS
- Experience with Google Ads and Google Analytics
- Knowledge of web publishing
- Experience of email marketing strategy and execution, ideally Klaviyo
- Proficiency with SEO tools
- Experience with digital marketing automation software
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
